Privacy Policy

Rekindle is built privacy-first. We do not record what cards you draw, what comfort settings you pick, what you do during a session, or anything about the content of your play. Free play never touches our servers. For paid users, we store the minimum needed to grant you access from any device: your email and the fact that you bought something.

Free users: nothing. The game runs entirely in your browser. Your names, comfort settings, custom prompts, history, and wishlist are stored only in your device's local storage. We have no record of them.

Paid users: the email address you provide at Stripe checkout, optionally your phone number if you provide it, and a record that a specific purchase was made (which product, when, the Stripe payment ID). That's it. We do not store any in-game data, comfort settings, or session content.

Site analytics: we use a privacy-respecting analytics tool to count visits and conversions. No personal information is collected — just aggregate counts of how many people visit each page.

We share data only with the services we strictly need to operate:

• Stripe — processes your payment. They see your card info, name, and email. We never see your card info.
• Supabase — hosts the database where your email and entitlement record live.
• Vercel — hosts the website.

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with marketers, advertisers, or anyone else.

We use a small number of essential cookies to keep you logged in if you sign back in on another device. We do not use marketing or tracking cookies.

You can:

• Ask us to delete your account and all data we have about you, at any time, for any reason. Email hello@rekindlegame.com from the address you used to purchase.
• Ask us for a copy of any data we have about you.
• Clear your local device data at any time from Settings → Reset → Wipe everything.

Rekindle is for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we learn we have, we will delete it immediately.

We take reasonable steps to protect the small amount of data we do hold. Passwords are not stored (we use magic-link login). Database access is restricted to the application via service-role keys that are never exposed to the browser.

That said, no system is perfectly secure. If we ever experience a data breach affecting your account, we will notify you within 72 hours.

If we materially change what we collect or how we use it, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For meaningful changes, we will email anyone with an account.
